PT Transcoal Pacific Site Asam Asam Distributes 30 Bicycles to Three Junior High Schools

Asam Asam, February 13, 2026 – PT Transcoal Pacific Tbk (TCPI) Site Asam Asam once again reaffirmed its role in advancing the quality of education in its operational areas. Through its Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) initiative, the company distributed transportation assistance in the form of 30 bicycles to students from three junior high schools in the area of Kintap District and Jorong District, Tanah Laut Regency, South Kalimantan Province on Friday (02/13).

Removing Barriers, Boosting the Spirit of Learning
This assistance program targets students from underprivileged families who face mobility challenges in commuting to school. By providing Mountain Bike (MTB) units, the company hopes that distance will no longer be an obstacle for students in pursuing their education. A total of 10 bicycles were distributed to each of the following schools:

1. SMPN 1 Kintap
2. SMPN 2 Jorong
3. SMPN 4 Kintap 

Pillar of Social and Environmental Responsibility (TJSL)
The assistance was symbolically handed over by the management of TCP Site Asam Asam to the school principals and representatives of parents. In their remarks, company representatives emphasized that support for the education sector is a strategic pillar in the company’s Social and Environmental Responsibility (TJSL) agenda. “We are here as a partner to the community to provide tangible solutions. Through this transportation support, we aim to ease the financial burden on parents while giving additional motivation to our students to remain consistent and enthusiastic in pursuing their dreams.”
