CORPORATE SOCIAL RESPONSIBILITY
Submission of CSR Assistance in the Sangatta Area
Regarding the commitment to support the Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG) and Social and Environmental Responsibility (TJSL) programs, on Wednesday, July 31, 2024, PT Transcoal Pacific, Tbk (“TCP”) once again actively participated in supporting education by providing CSR assistance in the form of computer devices and school supplies to 2 (two) orphanages in the Sangatta area.
The orphanages that received CSR assistance from TCP are:
- Ar-Rahmah Orphanage
- Harapan Bangsa Lentera Bercahaya Orphanage
The leader of the orphanage also expressed gratitude towards TCP for providing assistance in the form of computer devices (PC), which will be very useful in supporting school assignments. In this era of digitalization, it is essential for children to master technology so they can keep up with their ambitions.
The leader, along with the children from the orphanage, also prayed for the well-being of TCP, wishing for continued ease in conducting its business, zero accidents, prosperous employees, and beneficial contributions to the environment.
SAFETY
As proof of our commitment to safety, health and environmental protection and quality, the Compny have successfully obtained certification for DOC since September 1, 2016 and ISO 9001: 2015 since June 26, 2018.The Company runs the Company's operations safely, does not cause environmental pollution, creates a healthy work environment, complies with government regulations and other requirements. It is the management's commitment to the implementation of a quality management system in every process of implementing the production produced to ensure the fulfillment of customer requirements.
The Company complies with both international as well as national safety standards, including:
- Non-Convention Vessel Standard Indonesian Flag (NCVS 2009)
- International Convention for the Safety of Life at Sea (SOLAS)
- International Convention for the Prevention of Pollution from Ships (MARPOL) 73/78
- Other international conventions and regulations (as applicable)
- Other national conventions and regulations (as applicable)
By implementing a safety and quality management system, the Company is able to control safety risks and improve quality during operational activities.
HEALTH
The valuable asset of the Company is an employee. Their health is the highest priority. Company policies and health programs guarantee the health of employees in accordance with state regulations, company regulations and client expectations. The Company regulates ship crew rotation and ship crew changes by referring to international and national regulations to prevent the effects of fatigue which can lead to potential workplace accidents. In connection with emergency situations and dangerous events, PT. Transcoal Pacific Tbk has the ability to prevent and handle these problems with programs and competent teams
ENVIRONMENTAL
The Company is committed to implementing a Safety, Health and Environmental Protection Management System that prioritizes and guarantees safe operation of ships and no environmental pollution. The steps that have been taken at the Company for environmental protection, namely oil spill training, emission testing, hazardous material processing and waste management, periodic evaluation of the achievement and continuous improvement of pollution prevention and environmental protection related to applicable regulations and other applicable requirements.
