Providing Scholarships for Outstanding Elementary School Students in Sangatta

In line with the Environmental, Social and Governance (ESG) and Social and Environmental Responsibility (TJSL) programs, PT Transcoal Pacific, Tbk (the “TCPI”) on Monday and Tuesday, dated October 30 and 31, 2023 already participated significantly by providing support in world of education by providing scholarship assistance for students achievement in Sangatta, East Kutai Regency, East Kalimantan Province.
This achievement scholarships were given to 3 (three) State Elementary Schools located on the outskirts of Sangatta City, namely, as follows:
This achievement scholarships were given to 3 (three) State Elementary Schools located on the outskirts of Sangatta City, namely, as follows:
1. SDN 09 Sangatta Selatan.
2. SDN 12 Sangatta Utara.
3. SDN 13 Sangatta Utara.
These scholarships were given to students’ achievement who rank in the top 10 (ten) in class 6 (six), with a total of 30 (thirty) students.
The students were given school bags, stationery and pocket money, as well as sports equipment with a total value of Rp. 60,000,000 (Sixty Million Rupiah).
In his speech, the Person in Charge of Operations (PJO) of the KPC Project, Mr. Feri Manullang, motivated the selected students to remain enthusiastic about studying, achieve and prepare for the national exam to continue their education to a higher level.
The Principals welcomed this activity, and gave the highest appreciation to the TCPI’s Management for caring and making a real contribution to the world of education, especially in East Kutai Regency, in fact, according to information from the Principals, this activity was the first time carried out by a company that operates business activities in Sangatta, so the school would like to express its infinite gratitude for carrying out this activity.
This activity is planned to be carried out again taking into account the condition and capabilities of the company.
